In 1959 Dale Rose was born in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the small town of Monticello, Kentucky. He graduated from Wayne County High School in 1977. Shortly after, he and Millie Ann Dixon were united in marriage. He graduated from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in 1989 and now serves on the Board of Trustees there. He then graduated with an emphasis in evangelism from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 1993. He has 12 years of experience in the pastorate, nine of those in Kentucky and three in Texas. He returned to Monticello in the summer of 1994 without a revival scheduled, no income, no house and three kids.
He knew that God was calling him into full time evangelism. He has had the privilege of going back to three of the four churches where he pastored for revivals and has now conducted revivals in more than 20 churches in his home county. These churches have been of several different denominations. God has undoubtedly blessed Brother Rose beyond measure! He now does 25 to 30 crusades and church revivals annually and goes on one or two international short-term mission trips.
Besides ministry work, Dale and Millie own and operate E&E Shoe Brokerage (a wholesale business), and Cornerstone Homes (rental properties). Because of their work with the ministry and E&E, Dale and Millie often say that they “Are in the soul/sole business in two ways.” As a hobby Brother Rose enjoys fishing, but his main goal in life is to be a fisher of men.
